During January and February the underwater visibility varied from 2 to 10 metres but was typically 5 metres. I again dived Fly Point, Halifax, Little Beach, The Pipeline and Seahorse Gardens and was joined on some of these dives by Rob Stewart, Jim Dodd, Mick Todd, Nicci Johnson, Jake Miller, Meagan Abele, Natalie Scadden, Kate and Simon Gagnon, Teresa Williams, Hazel Diane and Aaron Royal.
Mary and I now had Bella, a Border Collie puppy who quickly proved very popular with my local dive buddies. Canadians Meagan Abele and Natalie Scadden temporarily joined the Let’s Go Adventures staff and I photographed them as they assisted in a local Seahorse Census. Brian and Jill Mayes flew in from the UK and as usual were a great inspiration. Once again a photography highlight for me was several Ornate Ghost Pipefish and with plenty of Anglerfish and Blue Ringed (or Lined) Octopus around I was spoilt for marine subjects.
