Western Australia Islands are made up of several large groups of small islands, which line the coastline including the Muiron Islands, otherwise called the Murion Islands. These two islands lie north east of Exmouth, about 18 kilometres off the coast of the North West Cape.
In April 2005, Eve and I spent two days diving both islands from Concorde, an Exmouth Diving Centre day boat. With the visibility on three of our four dives just 10 metres and having had a rough crossing from the North West Cape, we were rather disappointed with the diving. Fish highlights included Wobbegong sharks, a Whitetip Reef Shark and two large Stingrays.
