In October, Sport Diving magazine published my article Salties.
In August, Sport Diving magazine published my article The Fiji Bulls.
In July, the UK's Regaldive used one of my Great White shark photos for a DIVE magazine advert, another Great White shark image for a customer e-mail shot as well as one of my Green Turtle photographs for another bulk e-mail and PRO DIVE's Sealife V Boat Schedule July to September 2012 was prefaced with one of my shots of Mariangela Russo and e-mailed to their customers.
In June, the British Society of Underwater Photographers published my article Saltwater Crocodiles of Papua New Guinea in the Spring edition of in focus, their club magazine with one of photographs as the front cover. ACP Magazines Asia Ltd printed some of my Australian underwater photographs in an Action Sydney feature for the Cathay Pacific publication Cargo Clan and PADI's Project Aware used one my Dusky shark images for shark conservation fund raising. In the UK, Regaldive used my shots of a Green turtle and of a Stingray for two DIVER magazine advertisements. Regaldive used the same pictures for advertisements in the UK's DIVE magazine and in addition one of my Manta Ray images for a third advertisement. Regaldive also used a Great White shark shot of mine in their June e-mail Newsletter to clients. In the same month Ginclearfilm of Sydney published eight of my photographs of Jon Shaw using the new Epic X Camera on its Facebook page and two of my pictures of Eva Kirsch, one of Eduardo Andres Martinez Cigalino and also one of Nicci Johnson, were employed by PRO DIVE of Sydney for a customer e-mail shot. PRO DIVE also used one of my shots of Mariangela Russo to promote their SSI Advanced Adventure and PADI Advanced Openwater diving courses.
In May, Live Doodles, a USA company from Silicon Valley, launched an iPad and iPhone application "Learn Sharks Now" using my Blacktip Reef shark, Bronze Whaler shark, Bull shark, Dusky shark, Great White shark, Horn shark, Lemon shark, Oceanic Whitetip shark, Tiger shark, Whitetip Reef shark and Wobbegong shark images. In the same month, the University of the South Pacific, Fiji required one of my Bull shark photographs for a story on shark feeding and PRO DIVE of Sydney featured one of my shots of Eduardo Andres Martinez Cigalino in an e-mail to their clients.
In April PADI's Project Aware published one of my Manta Ray images on their website "for an AWARE Update about Manta Rays" and later in the month, one of my Oceanic Whitetip shark pictures headlined another PADI article "Oceanic Whitetips: Swimming Into the History Pages", ginclearfilm of Australia launched their Facebook page featuring several of my photographs and one of my images appeared on the Facebook page of Underwater Australasia. PRO DIVE of Sydney used five of my pictures of Eduardo Andres Martinez Cigalino, Nicci Johnson and Eva Kirsch in a careers in diving e-mail to their customers and a picture of Eva Kirsch in another e-mail shot about dive holidays. The UK's Regaldive used my shots of a Hawksbill turtle and an Anemonefish for advertisements in DIVER magazine.
In March one of my shots of a Lionfish was used for a 5 feet by 8 feet hard pastel street painting by Carolyn Schultz at the annual Chalk Festival, Safety Harbour, Florida USA, to bring attention to the invasive nature of lionfish in Florida water. PRO DIVE of Sydney used two of my photographs of Eva Kirsch for the front and back cover of their new PRO DIVE Log book as well as one of my shots of Nicci Johnson on the inside cover and in addition a picture of Eva Kirsch on the cover of their Dive Holidays brochure. PRO DIVE also featured my images of Eva Kirsch and Nicci Johnson on the front and back cover of their new wetsuit, equipment and accessories brochure and used one of my shots of Eduardo Andres Martinez Cigalino in a promotional Advanced Open Water course e-mail to their customers. Two further March PRO DIVE e-mails to their customer base each contained five photographs, namely three of my Eva Kirsch images and one each of my Nicci Johnson and Eduardo Andres Martinez Cigalino shots. PRO DIVE's Sealife V Boat Schedule April to June 2012 was prefaced with one of my shots of Nicci Johnson and a Weedy Sea Dragon and e-mailed in March to their customers. Also in the same month, one of my pictures of a Hawksbill turtle featured in an advertisement for the UK's Regaldive, this advertisement appearing twice in the UK's DIVER magazine and in the same magazine, my image of an Anemonefish was used in a full page Regaldive advertisement. This advertisement with my Anemonefish picture also appeared in the March edition of the UK's DIVE magazine and in addition Regaldive used one of my shots of Eva Kirsch in their March e-mail newsletter.
In February, Australia's ABC TV broadcast Shark Harbour (see April 2011 below) using a montage of my shark images for a poster as well as a photograph I took of Jon Shaw filming a bull shark to promote the programme. I became a contributor to Dive Around, an Australian diving and marine life website and an article I had written about bull sharks in Fiji was carried on their home page. PRO DIVE of Sydney produced billboard style adverts using photographs of my dive buddies Eduardo Martinez Cigalino and Nicci Johnson and one of my images of Eva Kirsch
featured both in the UK based Regaldive’s monthly e-newsletter and also their Newsflash e-mail.
In January PRO DIVE of Sydney released their Careers brochure 2012-2014 using my underwater photographs of dive buddies Nicci Johnson, Eva Kirsch and Eduardo Martinez Cigalino. And in the same month my photograph of a saltwater crocodile in front of a dive boat with my wife looking down from the boat through a snells window received five first place votes in the British Society of Underwater Photographers’ Focus On competition and overall finished in fifth place.
2011
In December Australian Cinematographer, the quarterly Journal of the Australian Cinematographer's Society, carried an eight page article on Jon Shaw, my regular dive buddy and underwater cameraman. This featured photographs I had taken of Jon surfacing from a dive in Fiji, Great White baiting in South Australia, Jon's underwater camera system, Jon in a Great White surface cage, an underwater shot of a kingfish farm in South Australia and a bull shark image taken in Fiji. And also in December, Pro Dive of Sydney released their January to March 2012 Boat Schedule featuring one of my photographs of Nicci Johnson.
In November the U.S. conservation group, WildEarth Guardians used one of my Dusky Shark photographs as part of a petition to relevant government agencies such as NOAA, to list this shark as Threatened or Endangered under the Endangered Species Act. Also in November, pictures of Eva Kirsch, one of my Red Sea dive guides, were used
in Regaldive’s monthly e-newsletter.
In October the British Society of Underwater Photographers published my article Bull Sharks in Fiji in the Autumn edition of in focus, their club magazine.
In September Lucidifi, a Silicon Valley, California, company, launched an iPad and iPhone application Learn Sharks featuring one of my Dusky Shark images.
In August Peninsula Living, a Sydney based monthly magazine, carried an article about my dive buddy Jon Shaw, which was illustrated by my photographs and in the same month UK based Regaldive released their 2011/12 brochure which included eleven of my photographs, namely a shot of my dive buddy Huw Watson on the cover, three Oceanic Whitetip images and pictures of an Australian Sea Lion, a Hawksbill Turtle, a Longnose Hawkfish, a Coleman’s Shrimp, a Stingray, a Caribbean Reef Shark and a Hawksbill Turtle.
In July EXPLORE! Worldwide Adventure Holidays of the UK, requested one of my anemone fish images for the Thailand page of their 2011/12 brochure, Oceanic UK headlined the lycra section of their website with one of my seal pictues and the UK's Regaldive used one of my Mola Mola shots in a "Summer Sale" e-mail to clients.
In June Oceanic UK used a Sea Hare photograph of mine to headline the mask category of their website and in an e-mail to their client base, UK based Regaldive used one of my Mola Mola images to promote Bali holidays.
In May one of my pictures of a Hawksbill Turtle appeared in the UK based Regaldive’s monthly e-mail "Newsflash".
In April I was asked by Michael Lynch and Edward Radford of Australia's Ultramarine Films Pty Limited and Executive Producer and Producer of "Shark Invasion" (otherwise known as “Shark Harbour”) to be Ultramarine’s Stills Cameraman on this documentary, set to be broadcast by National Geographic US and the Australian Broadcasting Company. This follows a specialist ‘Shark Research Team’ as they conduct the most comprehensive and technologically advanced study of sharks that’s ever been undertaken in Sydney’s waters. My main role was to take stills images of bull sharks on a three day shoot in Viti Levu, Fiji, these photographs to be used for future publicity of the production and possible inclusion on any DVD. Also in April, the New England based Consortium for Wildlife Bycatch Reduction,

, which supports collaborative research between scientists and the fishing industry to identify practical bycatch reduction solutions for endangered species, asked me to contribute to their searchable database.
In March one of my photographs of a Great White shark featured in the UK based Regaldive’s monthly e-newsletter.
In February PADI Diving Society with Regaldive of the UK launched an incentive in the UK's Sport Diver magazine using three of my photographs namely of a stingray, a turtle with divers in the background and also of a diver with a pink torch. In the same month, the UK's DIVER magazine's monthly What's Bubbling article ran one of my Mola Mola images in conjunction with Regaldive's new Bali holidays.
In January, for the second year running my photographs featured in the UK's Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO) Members Directory, I photographed Yellowtail Kingfish for Australian aquaculture pioneer, Clean Seas in their pens south of Port Lincoln, South Australia and in the same month Regaldive of the UK used my photograph of a Mola Mola to promote their Bali holidays in an e-mail to their client base.
2010
In September two of my Dusky shark images were used by the Humane Society International in a presentation to the Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission (IATTC), this presentation to be repeated at The UN General Assembly, The International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT ), The Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC) and other regional fisheries organisations. In the same month Regaldive of the UK released their 2010/11 holiday brochure featuring some of my photographs and also in September, one of my whale shark images appeared in Regaldive's monthly e-newsletter.
In May the UK's Regaldive used one of my Caribbean Reef Shark pictures for an advertisement placed in both the UK's DIVE and DIVER magazines.
In March DiveQuest of the UK added my photographs of a Dwarf Lionfish taken in Bali, Indonesia and two images of Stingrays taken in Grand Cayman to their website.
In February one of my photographs of a Grey Nurse shark featured in UK based Regaldive’s monthly e-newsletter.
On January 13th, both The Times newspaper and Times Online of the UK used one of my images of a Hawksbill turtle with divers, to headline an article on learning to dive in the Red Sea. In the same month, this shot also featured in the UK's DIVE Magazine 2010 Brochure Special. Also in January, my photograph of an Anemone Fish photo taken on the Great Barrier Reef and other images were used by the UK's Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO) in their Members Directory.
2009
In December ginclearfilm released 'Underwater New South Wales Vol 1: Sydney', a DVD which included photographs of Sydney marine life.taken by me and the UK's Regaldive once again used one of my Whitespotted Puffer photographs in DIVE and DIVER magazine advertisements.
In November Regaldive of the UK once again placed advertisements in the UK's DIVE, DIVER and SPORT DIVER magazines featuring my Whitespotted Puffer picture on the front cover of their brochure.
In October DiveQuest of the UK added my photograph of a Green Moray taken in Grand Cayman to their website, my shot of a Grey Nurse shark was used by the UK's Regaldive in a DIVE Travel Briefing e-mail to promote diving holidays in Djibouti and Regaldive repeated their advertisements in the UK's DIVE, DIVER and SPORT DIVER magazines which featured my Whitespotted Puffer picture on the front cover of their brochure as well as sending this to all their Facebook "friends".
In September EXPLORE! Worldwide Adventure Holidays of the UK used my image of an Anemonefish to promote the Great Barrier Reef on their website. The UK's Regaldive released a new holiday brochure featuring my photograph of a Whitespotted Puffer on the front cover and a further eleven of my pictures inside and my Whitespotted Puffer shot was used for the UK's DIVE, DIVER and SPORT DIVER magazine advertisements to publicise this brochure.
In August my photograph of a Whaleshark was used by Regaldive of the UK for their UK DIVER and SPORT DIVER magazines "worldwide" advertisements and also my image of a Lemon Shark for their UK's DIVE magazine "worldwide" advertisement.
In July a selection of my images were used on the carrier sheet sent out to some of the UK's DIVE magazine subscribers and Regaldive of the UK ran an advertisement featuring one of my Lemon Shark photographs in UK DIVE, DIVER and SPORT DIVER magazines and included one of my Tiger Shark pictues in their monthly e-newsletter.
In June DIVER magazine of the UK contained a report on the 2009 BSoUP / DIVER (British Society of Underwater Photographers in association with DIVER Magazine) Advanced Oversea Prints Competition with a brief profile of me while the two Regaldive of the UK advertisements featuring my Lemon Shark and Anemonefish photographs were again run in both DIVE and DIVER magazines and on the

In May my picture of a pike taken in Leybourne Lake, Maidstone in Kent was runner-up in the British photographs competition at the British Underwater Image Festival 2009 while my image of a Frogfish reached the finals of the Open category. Regaldive of the UK used one of my Stingray images for their DIVE FEST 2009 guide book advertisement and one of my Turtle shots in their monthly e-news letter as the banner headline to promote their "Top 5 Turtle Diving Destinations for World Turtle Day” and the two Regaldive advertisements featuring my Lemon Shark and Anemonefish photographs were again run in both the UK's DIVE and DIVER magazines.
In April it was announced that my close-up shot of an Oceanic Whitetip Shark had won the 2009 BSoUP / DIVER (British Society of Underwater Photographers in association with DIVER Magazine) Advanced Oversea Prints Competition. This competition had been held at the 2009 London International Dive Show with almost a thousand members of the public casting their votes. I was runner-up in the Epson Red Sea World of Underwater Images Monthly Competition and Divetime.com, the largest interactive Scuba diving destination website on the internet, chose me as their Featured Photographer displaying 70 of my images. My shot of a Lemon Shark was used to promote the UK's Regaldive in the UK DIVE and DIVER magazine "worldwide" advertisements and elsewhere in the same magazines, my picture of an Anemonefish featured in their "Red Sea" advertisement. on their world map as part of a link to Cocos Island and on the same website, one of my Tiger shark pictures introduced both a Great Ocean Adventures - Tiger Shark article by Monty Halls and an online petition to end shark finning. Regaldive of the UK launched a new website using some of my Blacktip Grouper, Bluespotted Ray, Caribbean Reef Shark, Frogfish, Grey Nurse Shark, Hawksbill Turtle, Manta Ray, Mola Mola, Napoleon Wrasse, Nudibranch, Octopus, Pgymy Sea Horse, Snapper, Stingray and Whale Shark images.
In March my image of an Anemonefish was chosen as the winning shot in the International section of the eyeMAGINE 2008 Underwater Photography Competition. In the same month, one of my photographs of an Oceanic Whitetip shark taken in the Bahamas and another of my dive buddy Huw Watson, taken in Taba, Egypt in May 2008 featured in the Client Gallery of the UK's Regaldive’s "21st Birthday Edition" monthly Newsletter. Also in March, my September 2006 photograph of a Corkwing Wrasse alive and struggling on a fishing line on Dover Harbour West Wall, Kent, UK was used by

for both their Home and Conservation website pages. And also in the same month the British Society of Underwater Photographers published my review of a dive trip to Fish Rock Cave, NSW, Australia in the Spring edition of their club magazine.
In February my photograph of a Frogfish finished fourth in the British Society of Underwater Photographers Focus On Competition - Red Sea images.
2008
In December one my Hawksbill turtle photographs appeared as a half page image in the UK's Food & Travel Magazine as part of a “Carribbean Hot Spots” article by Simon Rogerson and in the same magazine was also used in a Regaldive of the UK advertisement. Later in the month an image of my dive buddy Huw Watson, taken in Taba, Egypt in May 2008 featured in Regaldive’s monthly e-newsletter.
In October some of my photographs were featured and offered as wallpapers in an underwater photography article in Computer Bild, a German computer magazine.
In September my photograph of a UK lobster was included in the second edition of DIVE The Ultimate Guide by Monty Halls which according to the publishers, Ultimate Sports, is the world's best selling world scuba diving guide.
In August my photograph of a Frogfish featured in the UK's Regaldive monthly e-newsletter and Regaldive also released their 2008/2009 holiday brochure which included one of my Hawksbill turtle photographs.
In June my image of a photographer confronting an Oceanic Whitetip shark won The British Society of Underwater Photographers' Focus On Wide-Angle competition. In the same month both my Manta Ray image which had won a prize at the British Underwater Image Festival 2007 and my photograph of a Grey Nurse Shark taken at South West Rocks in Australia were used in the monthly Regaldive of the UK e-newsletter.
In May the UK's Regaldive used one of my Hawksbill turtle photographs for the banner headline of their e-newsletter.
In March one of my photographs of an Oceanic Whitetip shark, taken in the Bahamas, made the final edit of 40 images at the British Underwater Image Festival 2008, the UK's Regaldive used my photograph of a Hawksbill turtle taken in the Maldives for their printed March newsletter and my image of a Blacktip Grouper taken in Taba, Egypt as their monthly image for their e-newsletter.
2007
In March, the UK's Ultimate Sports Publications chose me as their Underwater Photographer of the Month and some of my photographs were printed in "Dive Red Sea – the Ultimate Guide" by Simon Rogerson and John McIntyre.
My photograph of a Dogfish taken at Selsey Pier in Sussex won best British Photograph at the British Underwater Image Festival 2007. At the same event my photograph of a large Manta Ray next to my wife Eve and Mohamed Saeed, Dive Centre Manager of MV Atoll Explorer, Maldives, won third place in the PADI Digital Underwater Photography category.
2006
My photograph of a Toadfish was runner-up in the Open Category of the British Underwater Image Festival 2006.
2005
My photograph of a Green Moray Eel won first place in the Compact Camera – Macro Competition at the annual Grand Cayman Digital Underwater Photography Week. In addition my photograph of Stingrays won second place in the Creative category and my photograph of a Barracuda received an Honourable Mention.
I was also featured in the summer edition of Imagine, an Olympus UK magazine, in an article entitled "Extreme Sports Photographers in the Spotlight".
2004
In October I was invited to present the best of my first years compact camera photographs at the Visions 2004 Underwater Photography Conference in London.
